In honor of Hispanic Heritage month, Deloitte teamed up with CATALINA to celebrate the achievements of those who are committed to helping Latinas succeed. Open to all Deloitte professionals, these awards recognize leadership, mentoring, and participation in the Hispanic/Latino(a) community – both internally at Deloitte and externally. The contributions of these winners are not only an inspiration to the Hispanic/Latino(a) community, but to all those who want to make a difference in their own communities.

Outstanding Community Service Award
Rocio Saldana – Rocio Saldana (1) is an experienced hire recruiting coordinator within the Talent organization, Deloitte Services LP. Rocio has made significant contributions by promoting theimportance of education through her work at a local high school and the ALPFA Mentorship program at the University of Texas at Austin.
Hispanic/Latino(a) Network Leadership Award
Nancy Molina – Nancy Molina (2) is the Talent Acquisition leader for the Mid-America region, Deloitte Services LP. Nancy serves as both a regional and national leader of Deloitte’s Hispanic/Latino(a) Business Resource Group (“HNet”), participates in ALPFA and NSHMBA, and has developed innovative events that have strengthened the HNet community and increased participation from non-
Hispanics/Latino(a)s.
Inspirational Leader Award
Lucia Capozzoli and Ray Gonzalez – Lucia Capozzoli (3) and Ray Gonzalez (4) are the winners of the Inspirational Leader Award which celebrates a mentor who has helped to shape a Latina’s career. Lucia Capozzoli, principal, Deloitte & Touche LLP, has continued her commitment to serve as a mentor to many and also serves as a role model to those who are trying to manage their career and life demands of being working parents. Ray Gonzalez, director, Deloitte & Touche LLP, has served as a champion of diversity and inclusion initiatives through his active involvement in
associations and groups such as ALPFA, NSHMBA, and HNet and has demonstrated unwavering dedication to serving as a mentor and role model to many within Deloitte.
