Judge Marilyn Milian's Quarters

The star of the People's Court queen opens up her home to
you (and our camera crew).

By Rosa Calves

With serene views and lush surroundings, this South Florida home blends tropical comfort and Spanish architecture with Marilyn Milian’s distinctive elegant decorating style. Milian, the star of the hit TV show The People’s Court welcomed CATALINA cameras into her new Coral Gables two-story house – which she shares with her 3 daughters and husband, Miami Dade Judge John Schlesinger.

Set against the waterway in Coral Gables, the home’s exterior offers the family soothing luxury and promised relaxation.

Inside, the house celebrates simple elegance and sleek beauty. The kitchen incorporates high-end practicality and personal style. Accented with the vibrant colors of Mexican ceramic dishes, the room has irresistible charm.

“My favorite room is my office,” Milian explains. “I am embarrassed to admit that because one would think it would be the patio overlooking the beautiful waterway ripe with manatees, stingrays, turtles, and snook.

But, no, it is my office because that is the one place I can retreat and recharge. I lead such a hectic life that I find nothing more enticing than curling up in my leather recliner and reading a Carl Haissen novel.”
